DNA Evidence Proves Osama Bin Laden is Dead; Plus Video Footage

God Bless our brave Navy Seals who carried out this dangerous mission.  This is an outstanding accomplishment. I hope this brings some sense of justice and closure to those who lost loved ones on 9/11.

The initial DNA results show a "very confident match" to bin Laden, giving "high confirmation" that it was bin Laden killed in the raid in Pakistan, one of the officials said.

In addition to the DNA testing, the U.S. also used facial recognition techniques to help identify him, a U.S. official said after the operation.

Senior U.S. administration officials said the body would be handled according to Islamic practice and tradition.

That practice calls for the body to be buried within 24 hours, the official said. Finding a country willing to accept the remains of the world's most wanted terrorist would have been difficult, the official said. So the U.S. decided to bury him at sea."

Two Barack Obama adminitration officials say they can say with 99.9% confidence that they got their man.

The officials did not say where or how the testing was done but the test explains why President Barack Obama was confident to announce the death to the world last night.

Sen. Pat Toomey Has a Great Idea on How to Freeze the Debt Ceiling Without Risking Default

Sen. Pat Toomey - Those words sound really good! -  has not bought into the "sky is falling" mentality that Obama, Democrats, and others within the Obama administration have been expressing regarding the debt ceiling.  He even points out that it is NOT a necessity to raise the debt ceiling but in fact emphasizes that if the debt ceiling is raised and congress continues their enormous spending spree, business as usual, then the ramifications would be staggering.  Pat Toomey says there is an alternative.

He is introducing legislation "that would require the Treasury to make interest payments on our debt its first priority in the event that the debt ceiling is not raised. This would not only ensure the continued confidence of investors at home and abroad, but would enable us to have an honest debate about the consequences of our eventual decision about the debt ceiling. If we do not raise it, the government's tax revenue will enable us to fund roughly two-thirds of projected expenditures, including interest payments. Without the ability to borrow the other third, spending cuts would be sudden and severe: Projects would be postponed, some vendor payments would be delayed, certain programs would be suspended, and many government employees might be furloughed. Default would easily be avoided, but these cuts would certainly be disruptive. That's why I hope we can avoid this scenario." 


Pat Toomey points out: 


The recent surge in spending, both in absolute dollars and as a percentage of our GDP, has driven us to record deficits and an explosion of debt. The growth in discretionary spending has been the most dramatic, but in the future mandatory entitlement spending will be the deficit driver. Congress must address both in order to put the government back on a sustainable fiscal path.

The vote on whether to raise the debt ceiling—and, if so, by how much—is our best opportunity to insist that any increase in our nation's debt be coupled with concrete steps toward fiscal sanity. Congress should make increasing our debt contingent on immediate cuts in spending and effective reforms of the spending process that helped get us into this mess.

For too many years, Congress has ignored or exacerbated the looming fiscal crisis created by overspending. Last fall's elections were largely a call to finally deal with this imminent threat, and the vote on the debt ceiling is Congress's opportunity to begin making real progress. We can do so without jeopardizing the full faith and credit of our country—and we should.

I agree with Pat Toomey. This out of control spending must stop!  It also sounds like Afghanistan is on the correct path now.  With the coordinated effort of both our troops and Afghanis hopefully this positive trend will continue. 

Muslim "Tolerance" in Pakistan -- Christian woman sentenced to death for "blasphemy"

Islamabad (AsiaNews/Agencies) - Pakistan has "crossed a line" in sentencing a Christian woman to death for blasphemy. Asia Bibi, a 37-year-old farm worker mother of two, was convicted of committing blasphemy before her fellow workers during a heated discussion about religion in the village of Ittanwali in June last year.

Some of the women workers had reportedly been pressuring Bibi to renounce her Christian faith and accept Islam. During one discussion, Bibi responded by speaking of how Jesus had died on the cross for the sins of humanity and asking the Muslim women what Muhammad had done for them.

The Muslim women took offence and began beating Bibi. Afterwards she was locked in a room. According to Release International, a mob reportedly formed and "violently abused" her and her children.

The charity, which supports persecuted Christians, said that blasphemy charges were brought against Bibi because of pressure from local Muslim leaders....

In addition to the death sentence, Bibi was also fined the equivalent for an unskilled worker of two and a half years' wages.

Another Christian woman, Martha Bibi (no relation to Asia), is also on trial in Lahore for blasphemy.

According to the National Commission on Justice and Peace (NCJP) of the Catholic Church, between 1986 and August 2009, at least 974 people have been charged for defiling the Qur'an or insulting the Prophet Muhammad. They include 479 Muslims, 340 Ahmadis, 119 Christians, 14 Hindus and 10 from other religions....


Now, oh where oh where have all those human rights organizations gone?  These organizations stay silent as Christians suffer and are persecuted at the hands of Muslims.  It is truly incomprenhensible how the human rights organizations haven't stood up against the brutality of Christian women.

Shahzad Faisal Arrested in Times Square Bomb Attempt; Denaturalization in Order?

 Last night authorities arrested a suspect in the attempted car bombing in NYC. Shahzad Faisal is a naturalized U.S. citizen who had recently traveled to Pakistan.

"Mayor Bloomberg was fretting with Katie Couric that the terrorist was likely “Home-grown, maybe a mentally deranged person or somebody with a political agenda that doesn’t like the health care bill or something. It could be anything.”

I am ticked off at the fact that Mayor Bloomberg made such callous remarks. The fact that Mayor Bloomberg was so quick to jump to conclusions and willing to implicate one particular segment of our society that is angry with our government on a specific issue is really troubling and disconcerting to me. That kind of crap makes me angry. Is he going to apologize for his erroneous remarks? Probably not. But, he should publicly apologize to the citizens who disagree with the Health Care Law.



Jennifer Rubin rightly points out that this is the fourth significant Jihadist attack since Obama took Office:

“A couple of points are worth noting. First, if accurate, this is the fourth significant jihadist attack since Obama took office. (In case you’ve lost track, there was the Little Rock recruiting shooting, the Fort Hood massacre, and the Christmas bombing — all before this latest event.) If Obama’s array of not-Bush national-security policies were supposed to make us safer, they haven’t.”

Then, I pondered whether it is possible for a naturalized citizen to lose their citizenship? And, it is possible for a naturalized citizen to lose their citizenship.  Here are a couple of instances of denaturalization which would apply to Shahzad Faisal :

Convicted For An Act Of Treason Against The United States

Treason is a serious crime, and the Constitution defines the requirements for convicting someone of treason. Treason is waging a violent war against the United States in cooperation with a foreign country or any organized group. It includes assisting or aiding any foreign country or organization in taking over or destroying this country including abolishing the Constitution. Treason also consists of attempting by overt acts to overthrow the US government or of betraying our government into the hands of a foreign power. If you are caught and convicted of treason, you can pretty much count on losing your US citizenship as well as serving lots of jail time.

Serving In Your Native Country’s Armed Forces If That Country Is Engaged In Hostilities Or At War With The United States

If your native country is engaged in hostile actions or is at war with America you need to be extremely careful. The US government will attempt to take away your US citizenship if they find out you are either aiding or serving in your native country’s armed forces in any capacity. Alternatively, the US government could try to nail you with a treason conviction and then strip you of your US citizenship.

Since certain people think that the Geneva Convention applies to terrorists who are not uniformed and do not have any allegiance to any specific country, then the reason for denaturalization as stated above should apply to the terrorists as well.


If there is proof or even it is beyond a reasonable doubt that there is a connection between Shahzad Faisal and any terrorist organization over in Pakistan (or anywhere overseas for that matter) then he should be stripped of his U.S. citizenship or be subject to denaturalization.

Is The News of the Arrest of U.S. Born Al Qaeda Member Adam Gadahn Incorrect or Not?

There has been quite a bit of confusion as to whether the reported arrest of Adam Gadahn is correct, or not?

Two Pakistani officers and a government official said Sunday that an American charged with treason for working with al Qaeda had been captured, a development that could deliver another significant blow in the U.S.-led battle against the terror network.

U.S. defense, intelligence and law enforcement officials could not immediately verify the reported detention of Adam Gadahn, a 31-year-old spokesman for al Qaeda who has appeared on videos threatening the West, including one that emerged earlier Sunday.

The reported arrest of Gadahn follows the recent detention of several Afghan Taliban commanders in Karachi, including the group's No. 2. Those detentions have been seen as a sign that Pakistan, which has been criticized as an untrustworthy ally, was cooperating more fully with Washington.

Some observers were cautious about giving credence to the claim that Gadahn was in custody as reports emerged that the man arrested might instead be a Taliban militant leader. There was no way of independently verifying the arrest or identity, and detentions of terror suspects in Pakistan are often surrounded by conflicting reports.

CBS News was told by sources in the Pakistan government that it was Gadahn, even after U.S. officials refused to confirm it was the California native for whom a $1 million reward has been posted.

Later, CBS News' Farhan Bokhari in Islamabad reported that earlier reports the detained individual was Gadahn proved false. According to a Pakistan security official who spoke with CBS News on condition of anonymity, the arrested individual is in fact "a Taliban militant leader who is known as Abu Yahya."

The official said evidence compiled from an interrogation of the suspect and information exchanged with U.S. officials verified the man's identify.
The reassessment only added to the confusion surrounding the arrest of a man earlier described by other unnamed Pakistani security officials as Gadahn.

"In the light of our latest information, I can say, this is not looking like Gadahn. But it is still the arrest of an important Taliban militant," said the Pakistani security official who spoke to CBS News late Sunday.

Western diplomats in Islamabad, responding to the latest twist to this increasingly confusing saga, said the arrest is not insignificant. "Even if this is not Adam Gadahn, it is still not an unimportant development. But let's hold our breath before we come to a final conclusion. We may be groping in the dark 'til someone, especially the Pakistanis who are holding this man, agree to present him publicly," said one western diplomat in Islamabad who spoke to CBS News on condition of anonymity.

Gadahn, who is also known by various aliases (including Yahya Majadin Adams and Azzam al-Amriki), has posted videos and messages calling for the destruction of the West and for strikes against targets in the United States, the most recent surfacing today, in which he praised the U.S. Army major charged with killing 13 people in Fort Hood, Texas and urged other U.S. Muslims to use him as a role model.

Gadahn grew up on a goat farm in Riverside County, Calif., and converted to Islam at a mosque in nearby Orange County, before moving to Pakistan in 1998, where he is believed to have attended an al Qaeda training camp, and served as a translator and consultant for the group,

Gadahn was arrested in the sprawling southern metropolis of Karachi in recent days, two officers who took part in the operation said. A senior government official also confirmed the arrest, but said it happened Sunday. The discrepancy could not immediately be resolved.

They spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to release the information.

The intelligence officials said Gadahn was being interrogated by Pakistani officials. Pakistani agents and those from the CIA work closely on some operations in Pakistan, but it was not clear if any Americans were involved in the operation or questioning.

In the past, Pakistan has handed over some al Qaeda suspects arrested on its soil to the United States.

If the man in custody is indeed Gadahn and authorities can get him to talk, he could offer valuable intelligence about al Qaeda's second in command Ayman al-Zawahiri and maybe even Osama bin Laden, Rowan said.

Gadahn has been on the FBI's most wanted list since 2004 and there is a $1 million reward for information leading to his arrest. He was charged with treason in 2006 and faces the death penalty if convicted. He was also charged with two counts of providing material support to a designated foreign terrorist organization.


There has been quite a bit of confusion since it was reported yesterday that an American Al-Qaeda member was captured in Pakistan. Both the AP and Reuters posted stories early on that the terrorist captured was Adam Gadahn. But, there has been no confirmation as to actually who was captured in Pakistan. We have heard that whoever it was that was captured within Al-Qaeda that it is not an insignificant capture. Regardless of who this turns out to be, this is a big catch in the War on Terror.


In recent months, Pakistan has ratcheted up its efforts to stop the terrorists in Pakistan and specifically on the Afghan-Pakistan border, where high-value Al-Qeada members are/were thought to be hiding. Pakistan has made a number of arrests and have killed some Al-Qaeda members as well. Pakistan should be commended for their actions in fighting, capturing, and killing terrorists.


We will just have to wait and see if in fact this is Adam Gadahn or not?

Adam Gadahn- American Al Qaeda Spokesman Arrested in Pakistan

According to CNN:
"Adam Gadahn, an American spokesman for al Qaeda, has been arrested in Pakistan, a senior Pakistani government official source told CNN."


"I believe that defiant Brother Nidal is the ideal role model for every repentant Muslim in the armies of the unbelievers and apostate regimes," Gadahn says in English.


"In 2006, he was indicted on charges of treason and providing material support to terrorists. The U.S. government has offered a $1 million reward for information leading to his capture. In a 2008 video, he renounced his U.S. citizenship and destroyed his passport."

This is huge catch and achievemant in our fight in the War on Terror. The terrorist, Gadahn praised the terrorist attack at Ft. Hood that killed thirteen American soldiers which was committed by an avowed Muslim Jihadist named Nidal Hasan who worked as a phychiatrist for the Army.  That was so despicable and such a tragedy.  We must make sure that another incident like this never happens again.  This is how Muslim extremists are going to try and target innocent Americans and others' across the world. They are going to try and infiltrate us from within, using our own system to their benefit. We must weed out these Muslim Jihadists using various tools such as data mining, wire tapping under the law, eliminating political correctness, and training officials within both the military and other government agencies on how to recognize and keep an eye out for Muslim extremists posing as peaceful Muslims. Maybe, we should even have employee or citizens' training on how to recognize a terrorist? What kind of signs should we look out for as citizens trying to keep safe in America?  Nonetheless, this is huge victory in the War on Terror.
