It's Illegal Immigration Stupid!!

While doing further research on illegal immigration I found this video on immigration from Beck back in 2006.

Apparently when a study is done and the results don't fit the liberals picture perfect utopian agenda they label the truth as "extremism" because it doesn't support their calls for allowing illegal immigrants to overrun our country or there agenda to have undocumented democrats workers aid in Obama's reelection.  Many of the hispanics today are unwilling to assimilate into our society or contribute to our society as fully functioning individuals but instead would have us conform to their culture.  Well, ya know, if I wanted to join in their culture then I would move to Honduras or Mexico, but I don't.  Those people who immigrated here in the past were more than willing to and in fact did assimilate and contribute to our society and work with the citizens who were already residing in America but that isn't the case with this wave of immigrants today.  But, these seem to be a guiding staple of the Democratic Party - keeping individuals reliant on the government as well as adhering to the principles of nonsensical jibberish.  These backwards minded individuals just wouldn't have the capacity to know common sense principles or logic even if it was 2 inches away from their faces.  Liberals and anyone else who want to allow people to cross our border and ignore the rule of law and American sovereignty are for anarchy and against having the right to national borders and this country having a right to enforce its laws.  This crap has got to stop!!  Our federal government must do its job and enforce the borders.

FAIR an organization that has been labeled as "extremist" by the Left for revealing the true costs of illegal immigration.  FAIR just recently released their findings of a study that they conducted on the fiscal burden that illegal immigration has on taxpayers.

Here are there key findings:

Illegal immigration costs U.S. taxpayers about $113 billion a year at the federal, state and local level. The bulk of the costs — some $84.2 billion — are absorbed by state and local governments.

The annual outlay that illegal aliens cost U.S. taxpayers is an average amount per native-headed household of $1,117. The fiscal impact per household varies considerably because the greatest share of the burden falls on state and local taxpayers whose burden depends on the size of the illegal alien population in that locality

Education for the children of illegal aliens constitutes the single largest cost to taxpayers, at an annual price tag of nearly $52 billion. Nearly all of those costs are absorbed by state and local governments.

At the federal level, about one-third of outlays are matched by tax collections from illegal aliens. At the state and local level, an average of less than 5 percent of the public costs associated with illegal immigration is recouped through taxes collected from illegal aliens.

Most illegal aliens do not pay income taxes. Among those who do, much of the revenues collected are refunded to the illegal aliens when they file tax returns. Many are also claiming tax credits resulting in payments from the U.S. Treasury.

Immigration Speech: President Obama Distorts Truth 7 Times in 54 Seconds

Obama is the master of deception and lies. Bryan Fischer points out that President Obama broke his own record for the number of times that he distorted the truth in the shortest duration in history. Obama distorted the truth 7 times in 54 seconds during his immigration speech. Maybe we should send Obama to Liars Anonymous?

Bryan Fischer points out Obama's distortions here:

"Into this breach, states like Arizona have decided to take matters into their own hands. Given the levels of frustration across the country, this is understandable. But it is also ill conceived. And it's not just that the law Arizona passed is divisive — although it has fanned the flames of an already contentious debate. Laws like Arizona's put huge pressures on local law enforcement to enforce rules that ultimately are unenforceable. It puts pressure on already hard-strapped state and local budgets. It makes it difficult for people here illegally to report crimes — driving a wedge between communities and law enforcement, making our streets more dangerous and the jobs of our police officers more difficult."

"ill conceived" — In the most significant parts of the Arizona law, its language is drawn word-for-word from federal immigration statutes signed into law by Democrat icons. The requirement that every non-citizen in the U.S. be required to carry documentation was passed by a Democrat Congress and signed into law by President Franklin Roosevelt in 1940. Other parts of the law mirror language from the immigration law signed by President Lyndon Johnson in 1965, a bill championed by Sen. Ted Kennedy.

"divisive" — 71% of Arizonans support the bill. It has unified rather than divided. In politics, a 60-40 win is considered a landslide. For a law to get 71% support is an overwhelming mandate.

"unenforceable" — Just ask Maricopa Sheriff Joe Arpaio exactly how difficult this law is to enforce. If other communities find it unenforceable, they need better sheriffs.

"budgets" — Just ask Arizonans about budgetary impacts. They are coughing up $2.7 billion a year for education, welfare, health care and law enforcement costs to deal with the illegal alien problem. A secure border would free up almost $3 billion dollars, either to be returned to the wallets of residents or spent on other programs. Mayfield, California, a city which declared itself a "safe haven" for illegal aliens, just closed down under the strain of budgetary pressures.

"report crimes" — This is just ridiculous. Nobody asks for your Social Security number when you call 911. They just send a squad car. And the Arizona law only allows law enforcement to check your immigration status if you are committing a crime, not if you are reporting one.

"streets more dangerous" — Ask the residents of Phoenix about this one. Phoenix is now second only to Mexico City as the kidnapping capital of the world. Home invasions, drug crimes and street crimes are up — "off the charts" to use Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu's words — because of illegal aliens. The federal government has virtually ceded large swathes of sovereign U.S. territory to the drug cartels, putting signs up warning U.S. citizens to stay of U.S. property because Mexican drug cartels control it. Mayfield, California, which declared itself a "safe haven" for illegal aliens, just closed down.

"jobs of our police officers more dangerous" — Ask Joslyn Johnson, the widow of slain Houston patrolman Rodney Johnson, who was shot to death in 2006 by an illegal alien who had already been deported one time and had been arrested at least three times before gunning Johnson down at a routine traffic stop. If our southern border were secure, Rodney Johnson would be alive today. Making their jobs more dangerous? Hardly. It's the other way round.

Father Bascio on illegal Immigration: Evolution Vs. Revolution

Father Bascio has an excellent explanation as to why illegal immigration is immoral. He compares true compassion of legal immigration which helps people all around the globe with the misguided compassion of supporting amnesty and illegal immigration which hurts not only the country from where their emigrating from, but also the country where the illegal immigrants are immigrating to economically.

A Good Debate on the Arizona Immigration Law

This is a good debate on the Arizona Immigration Law-actually it took place before the bill became law.  The federal law is a law which is supposed to be keeping American citizens safe, but the federal government refuses to enforce the federal law already on the books, so Arizona needed to pass this law for Arizonans' protection and to enforce the rule of law. But there are pro-violators who are against both the federal and Arizona laws, maybe people whom I would call anarchists or people who are pro-anarchy- definition of anarchy is a state of lawlessness and disorder- who are against these laws and for open borders all for the sake of social justice, and are ignoring the widespread ramifications of the increased ensuing violence that illegal immigrants have caused and brought into this country.  There needs to be law and order in our country and the Arizona law helps to do just that, at least for Arizonans. Russell Pearce is right on!!

Has Cardinal Mahony Gone Off His Rocker?

Is a State enforcing illegal immigration laws a form of Naziism or Communism?

"According to Fox News, The Rasmussen Reports poll found 70 percent of likely voters in Arizona back the bill, which cleared the state Legislature this week and awaits the governor's signature, despite concerns about potential civil rights violations.

The Arizona bill would create a new misdemeanor crime for failing to have an alien registration document; allow officers to arrest anyone unable to show documents proving their legal residence in the country; and allow people to sue over claims that a government agency is hindering immigration enforcement.

The Rasmussen poll reflected bipartisan support for the bill in Arizona. Eighty-four percent of Republicans support it -- but so do 51 percent of Democrats. Forty-three percent of Democrats oppose it. "

Cardinal Mahoney Stated:
“The Arizona legislature just passed the country's most retrogressive, mean-spirited, and useless anti-immigrant law [SB 1070, awaiting the expected signature of Gov. Jan Brewer],” Cardinal Mahony wrote on April 18. “The tragedy of the law is its totally flawed reasoning: that immigrants come to our country to rob, plunder, and consume public resources.”

“The law is wrongly assuming that Arizona residents, including local law enforcement personnel, will now shift their total attention to guessing which Latino-looking or foreign-looking person may or may not have proper documents,” he added. “I can't imagine Arizonans now reverting to German Nazi and Russian Communist techniques whereby people are required to turn one another in to the authorities on any suspicion of documentation.”

Although the measure would require police to ask for documents if there is a “reasonable suspicion” that a person is an illegal immigrant, The Los Angeles Timesnoted that the bill “would not require people to report suspected illegal immigrants to authorities, as [Cardinal] Mahony intimated.”

Does Cardinal Mahony realize that a sovereign has a right to protect its citizens? And, that a sovereign has a right to enforce laws?  Does he realize that violence has increased over the years and that a large portion of the increase in violence has been committed by illegals who have crossed the border?  What happened to Mexico's and other Central or South American countries obligation to make sure that their citizens have food, water and shelter? Why hasn't he called those leaders out and demanded acts of social justice from their leaders and communities?  I think it is just and proper to help these illegal immigrants in their own countries, but not in the U.S.A.  Thank God he is retiring soon and a better and more traditional Catholic leader, Archbishop Jose Gomez,  is taking over the reigns in L.A.

Vote For Edward Lynch in Florida's 19th District Special Election

Andrew33 at K.O.O.K's has a wonderful post on Edward Lynch whose running in Florida's
19th district special election.  This man is a conservative who we must help to win against the Democrat running in the race and in effect halt the status quo.  We must work to stop the status quo all across the nation and take back this nation.

National ID Card: Encroaching Fascism

This is lunatic idea being propagated by our government is fascism of the worst kind. This National I.D. Card is intrusive into the lives of Americans. This is not a good solution, if a solution at all. This is Big Brother violating the privacy of Americans while rewarding illegal immigrants who have entered this country via illegal means-- enabling these illegal immigrants to have all the benefits of American citizens when these illegal immigrants are not playing by the rules. Americans are playing by the rules and now our government is trying to screw the American people. This really ticks me off. The answer to the illegal immigration problem is to close our borders, to put a fence up, and to post an additional number of armed guards at both borders. The wrong answer to this immigration issue is for the government to use this intrusive method where government would be creeping their way into our private lives. This is about our freedom. We must stop our government from gaining more control over our lives. Sen. Lindsey Graham, the RINO from South Carolina, is co-sponsoring this bill. We need to boot Sen. Lindsey Graham (RINO) out of office since he is co-sponsoring this crappy piece of legislation and crossing the aisle. No more crossing the aisle, dammit!! No more compromising our privacy!!! Let’s all fight back against this outlandish, extremely intrusive bill.

Senate Plan Calls for National ID Card to Curb Illegal Immigration

By: Dave Eberhart

A national ID card using biometric data such as fingerprints is at the center of an immigration reform bill being hammered out in the U.S. Senate – a measure that once again probably will pit advocates of homeland security and tough immigration enforcement against civil libertarians, employers and immigrant rights groups.

The new effort by Sens. Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., and Lindsey Graham, R- S.C., will revive the “Real ID” debate that has festered for years with little effect on illegal immigration. Under their plan, a universally required card would be encoded with all sorts of information regarding the holder, as well as contain a unique biometric signature created from either fingerprints or the vein patterns on the tops of the hands.

Bottom line: Employers will not be able to hire applicants who do not present a valid ID.

Schumer and Graham are slated to meet soon with President Barack Obama to brief him on their work. An administration official said the White House has no position on the biometric card, according to a report in The Wall Street Journal.

Graham’s approach to the controversial IDs is simple: Americans already carry Social Security cards – this is the same thing, except tamperproof. So what’s the big deal?

“We’ve all got Social Security cards,” he said. “They’re just easily tampered with. Make them tamper-proof. That’s all I’m saying.”

“It’s the nub of solving the immigration dilemma politically speaking,” Schumer told the Journal. The card, he argued, would nip in the bud any surge of illegal immigrants. “If you say they can’t get a job when they come here, you’ll stop it.”

All sounds well and good, but predictably there are critics who see the card as the ultimate invasion of privacy that puts Big Brother at the shoulder of every honest American worker.

Conservatives are divided depending on their views on immigration vs. the potentially intrusive role of government. Fox New host Bill O’Reilly said Tuesday night that he favors a National ID Card, citing among other things the additional taxes that would be collected through reduced fraud. He called it a “moneymaker for the U.S.” O’Reilly, as well as former CNN host Lou Dobbs, an advocate of strong immigration enforcement, wants the measure fast-tracked this year.

But others don’t like the idea of a government with control of biometric data of every U.S. citizen.

“It is fundamentally a massive invasion of people’s privacy,” said Chris Calabrese, legislative counsel for the American Civil Liberties Union, according to Homeland Security Newswire. “We’re not only talking about fingerprinting every American, treating ordinary Americans like criminals in order to work. We’re also talking about a card that would quickly spread from work to voting to travel to pretty much every aspect of American life that requires identification.”  CONTINUED
