Texas Defunded "The Murder Mill" and Now Obama Admin Has Pulled Medicaid Funding

Why is it that many liberal initiatives are unable to keep afloat on their own, without any government funding?

The Obama administration has just yanked $40,000,000 in Medicaid funding for Texas.  This was NOT Governor Perry's doing.  Even though it was Obama's decision to pull medicaid funding Planned Parenthood blames Gov. Perry for the medicaid defunding.  The feminuts have become unhinged, are having a temper tantrum and directing some misguided ire toward Governor Perry.  Obama believes in the tyranny of the State - that individual state legislatures have no right to make decisions on how they're going to allocate their own monies.  Obama and his cronies are crying Waaa Waaa Waaa.... and acting like crybabies just because Texas defunded "the murder mill", a.k.a. Planned Parenthood. So, now the Obama admin is screwing the poor?  Progressives are so beholden to their "unholy sacrament" which murders innocent unborn children that they are willing to throw the poor under the bus.  This is more proof that progressives only use the poor to advance their own agenda.  They really don't give a diddly-squat about the poor.

Texas decided to bar the Women’s Health Program funding from abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, in May of last year. Almost immediately, the Obama administration threatened to pull Medicaid from Texas if funding wasn’t reinstated for the abortion giant. Texas refused, and in turn, the Obama administration decided last week to yank the annual $40,000,000 Texas received for its Medicaid program, beginning in March. This also results in another $17,000,000 loss to Planned Parenthood of Texas.

Ron Paul's Deceitfulness

I am not a Ron Paul fan.  In fact this may surprise some conservatives but he is my least favorite of the last four presidential candidates in the GOP race.  He is the least trustworthy IMO.  He kept on changing his answers when it came to reporters questioning him on his letters.  And, yes, I do think that he lied through his teeth when he said he didn't know who wrote the racist parts of his letter.  Even if I give him the benefit of the doubt and he doesn't know who wrote the racist parts of his newsletters that goes beyond incompetence, to negligence IMO.  I do not want a president with that type of "hands off" approach. You wouldn’t trust a medical procedure to someone who took the easy route and got medical training from an online college, so why would you trust someone to run the country who either lies or is negligent? The extent to which someone involves and invests themselves, speaks volumes to how serious they are about the ultimate quality of their work.”

 Like last night in the debate he said the problem with politics in Washington is that it does take a team effort.  He is an idealist who is unwilling to compromise and be a team player with fellow Republicans but when it comes to pushing his isolationist foreign policy agenda he is more than willing to work with Democrats.  Ron Paul is willing to be a part of the team when it comes to working with Democrats to promote his nightmare of an isolationist foreign policy agenda.  Paul thinks that a madman who has threatened to blow Israel off the face of the map has a "right" to have possession of a nuclear weapon.  That is just crazy talk. He is just another political opportunist who uses people for his own cause. I don't like his snobbish attitude in how he thinks that he is better than other politicians just because he talks about liberty, the constitution, and freedom.  Just because he gives speeches and interviews promoting liberty? Seriously?  He has a flawed view of both our federal government and the tenth amendment.  It seems to me that Ron Paul thinks that the Federal government has no role in the United States.  The tenth amendment does give states the right to develop different systems of education and different health care services but it does NOT give the states the right to do harm.  Some states do not have the right to legalize abortion while others ban abortion.  The Constitution says that every person has an unalienable right to life and his tenth amendment views violate the Constitution, the very Constitution he pretends to uphold.

Ron Paul's recent television ad is deceitful in its implications which suggest that Rick Santorum supports Planned Parenthood.  This couldn't be further from the truth.  Paul equates voting for a budget that has Title X funding in it with supporting Planned Parenthood.  That is fallacious.  Rick Santorum not only talks the pro-life talk but also walks the walk so when people falsely accuse him of otherwise or distort his record for political opportunism it irks me to no end.  Under the law it is a requirement for budgets to be passed. This happened under Bush.  Unfortunately we haven't seen a budget passed since April 29, 2009, not long after the Democrats took control of the House, Senate, and White House. Plus, the Democratically controlled Senate has blocked all efforts to pass a budget since the Republicans took control of the House.

In an article on LifeNews.com Steven Ertelt makes it clear that Rick Santorum is a stalwart defender of the unborn and does not support Planned Parenthood.

On Monday, on the Sean Hannity program on Fox News, Santorum himself responded to the charge.

“Look, I’m not a big fan of Title X, that is Planned Parenthood. No, I want to defund Planned Parenthood,” he told Hannity.

Santorum also said in December that he strongly supports the most recent efforts in Congress to eliminate taxpayer funding for Planned Parenthood.

“[The abortion] is an inhumanity that should not occur in this country,” Santorum said, according to the Daily Iowan. “[Tax dollars] should not be used for things that are morally objectionable.”

“I can’t imagine any other organization with its roots as poisonous as the roots of Planned Parenthood getting federal funding of any kind,” Santorum said. “This is an organization that was founded on the eugenics movement, founded on racism — I mean, it’s horrific. It’s origins are horrific. And you can say, ‘well it’s not that anymore.’ It’s not far from where it was in my opinion.”

In fact, the record shows Santorum has a long line of votes to deny taxpayer funding for abortion and Planned Parenthood and frequently compiled 100% pro-life voting records from the National Right to Life Committee.

Ron Paul wants to be pro-life but is officially pro-choice state by state, and so contradicts himself and wrongly assumes that states' rights supersede human rights, concluding that a state like California has the right to permit abortion. But the right to life is God-given so there can be no 'right' to decriminalize child killing.

Bizarre Love Triangle: Girl Scouts, Planned Parenthood, and National Federation for Catholic Youth Ministry

Activists have already exposed the link between the Girls Scouts and Planned Parenthood.  Now it seems that the National Federation for Catholic Youth Ministry (NFCYM) is also complicit in this evil. Doing nothing, looking the other way, and ignoring the reality of the relationship between Planned Parenthood and the Girl Scouts is being complicit in evil.


In an interview on the "Today" show in 2004 the Girls Scouts CEO Cathy Cloninger admitted that the Girl Scouts does work with the nations leading abortion provider, Planned Parenthood.

"We partner with many organizations. We have relationships with our church communities, with YWCAs and with Planned Parenthood organizations across the country, to bring information-based sex education programs to girls," Cloninger told Lester Holt.

Sharon Slater, the President of Family Watch International, attempted to attend a workshop in 2010 which was sponsored by the Girl Scouts at the United Nations  that was part of a conference on women's rights. She sat in the back of the room but was quickly told that the event was for 'girls only' and was asked to leave.


She waited for the workshop to end and then made her way into the classroom where the workshop had taken place.  She found participant handouts on the table and was shocked by the content in the pamphlets. 


What Sharon found was a sexually explicit booklet called, "Happy, Healthy and Hot," which included the contact information for International Planned Parenthood Federation. 

"The booklet teaches girls that they have a right to engage in any type of sexual activity they desire," Sharon said.

"But perhaps most shocking was the advice in the booklet that if they happened to be HIV-positive it was completely up to them to decide whether to inform any sexual partner of their condition."

After she reported the booklet in the "Family Watch" newsletter her credibility was called into question. The fact that her credibility was questioned isn't surprising. This is how the Left eliminates its competition through character assassination. 

After her report was published Sharon gained national media attention but the Girl Scouts denied that there was any connection between Planned Parenthood and them. 

Slater noted that parents have no idea "what ideas and values their daughters may be exposed to" as a current Girl Scout so she did something very important to keep parents informed as to what is going on within the Girl Scouts, and documented the findings of her team on her website. 

"Visitors to her site will find links to documents, screen shots, financial statements and even audio and video of Girl Scout leaders admitting connections that the GSUSA officially denies exist." 

In a recent Washington Times article Rebecca Hagelin exposes how the Girls Scouts has been co-opted by the radical feminist pro-sexual promiscuity agenda - aka the feminazis. 

Hagelin writes:

In contrast to the Boy Scouts of America – an organization I have long supported and recommended – the Girl Scouts of the United States of America has been co-opted as the functional arm of the Democratic, feminist establishment.

It dupes millions of American families into believing that its only mission is to promote wholesome leadership activities for girls.

Now that you have some background information on the connection between Planned Parenthood and the Girl Scouts I will show you the last piece of this evil corrupt love triangle and the connection between the National Federation of Catholic Youth Ministry, Planned Parenthood and the Girl Scouts.  

The Girl Scout whistleblowers want every parent to know the Girl Scouts evil agenda and believe the faith community should be sounding the alarm as well.  But it seems that their efforts have been stymied by the organization which oversees the relationship between the Girl Scouts and the Catholic Church and that the National Federation of Catholic Youth Ministry seems to be preventing the Catholic community from hearing the facts about the connection between Planned Parenthood and the Girl Scouts.  

Bob McCarty, the head of NFCYM, said that he had been contacted by some watchdog groups which expressed concern over the connection between Planned Parenthood and the Girl Scouts.    McCarty claims that he has held numerous meetings over Catholics concerns and that the Girl Scouts have addressed his concerns.  

In speaking on a NFCYM position paper McCarty stated, "The very existence of a position paper tells you that we see problems with the Girl Scouts," McCarty told WND. "If we didn't see problems, there wouldn't be a need for a position paper."

But then WND notes, "That paper speaks mainly to an accusation of the GSUSA distributing materials on marriage, abortion, contraception, and sexuality that don't line up with Catholic Church teachings. The paper then describes the NFCYM practice of simply asking the GSUSA if the accusations are true." 

Girl Scouting officials claim that "Happy, Healthy, and Hot" wasn't their booklet even though this booklet was discovered immediately after the conclusion of a meeting which was sponsored by the Girl Scouts at the United Nations.  They claim the room wasn't 'sanitized' prior to their occupying it.

She tells WND that the GSUSA explanation of not "sanitizing" the room prior to occupying it doesn't jive with the facts.

"It has been suggested, but seems unlikely, that the vulgar 'Healthy, Happy, and Hot' booklets were left in the room by a group from a previous meeting," she says.

She then described how it was the first day of the conference, and the three groups in the room prior to the Girl Scouts were not covering topics that would involve such a booklet.

"It is clear that the Planned Parenthood booklets would not have pertained to the topics covered by these organizations," she says.

Regardless of Slater's eyewitness account, McCarty's position paper says:

"NFCYM was satisfied with the GSUSA account of the UN meeting."

Therein, lies the problem, say the watchdog groups.

'The NFCYM gives the Girl Scouts a nod for all they do," Jane Petry said. Petry, who has four generations of Girl Scouts in her family, has become a vocal critic of the once-revered group.

"The serious error in this is the fact that they [NFCYM] advise the bishops, as they are considered the voice to our girls well being," she said. "Very, very wrong.

"The NFCYM actually has on their board members of the Girl Scouts."

Lisa Larsson is a Catholic mother from Florida who became concerned about the things her niece was being exposed to as a Girl Scout. The more she researched, the more disturbed she became.

She and her sister, Rochelle Focaracci, not only parted ways with their Girl Scout connection, they started one of the watchdog websites, girlscoutswhynot.com, as well.

Their goal is not only to inform parents across the world of the disturbing trends they discover in the Girl Scouts, but to reach church leaders as well.

 The sisters contacted Bob McCarty of the NFCYM to sound the alarm, but they say nothing really changes within the Catholic group.

They also say that it's tough to raise the alarm within the Catholic Church because the bishops tend to defer to the position of the NFCYM on the matter.

"We think that the bishops don't know the extent of the problem."
"If the NFCYM won't call for severing ties with the GSUSA, why would the bishops," Larsson asks?


Larsson and Focaracci tell WND that the NFCYM policy of simply "asking" the Girl Scouts if the accusations are true is appalling.


"It's like the FBI asking a terrorist before he gets on a plane if he's a terrorist. If he says 'no,' then they go ahead and let him get on the plane," says Larsson.


Focaracci said, "The Girl Scouts do not belong in our churches."

The Title X Abortion Provider Prohibition Act ensures that taxpayer money authorized by the federal government for family planning efforts supposedly to reduce abortions don’t go to the nation’s biggest abortion business.

Last year alone, according to Planned Parenthood’s own annual report, it received more than $363 million in revenue from government grants and contracts. During that same timeframe, it did 324,008 abortions, a 5.8 percent increase from the previous year, which also set a record high at that time.

These pro-aborts must be stopped from forcing their personal moral depravity and moral bankruptcy on other taxpayers who know that abortion is murder.  Denying a fact - that abortion kills an unborn human life - doesn't make the opposite opinion true. We must stop taxpayer funding of murder!

I wanted to do a post on the Commie/Progressive Rally before it took place but will do it today even though it is after the rally took place.  A few of the sponsors of the rally included: baby killers of America Planned Parenthood, Communist Party USA (CPUSA), and Democratic Socialists of America. The people who attended the rally are calling for socialism in America and believe in both identity politics and class warfare.  Those at the rally want "free" health care, "free" government assistance for this and that, but don't realize that nothing is free.  These people want to abandon their responsibilities and hand them over to the State. They want others to be obligated to fork over their hard earned money so that they don't have to.  They want the "rich" to take care of their every need while at the same time trying to tear the rich man down, and trying to destroy his wealth.  Maybe some do love this country but those that immigrated to the United States, whether legally or illegally, have a very odd way of showing it.  They came to this country looking for more opportunities and to have a better way of life.  They left their country because of the horrible living conditions there which is being caused by that country's failed economic system whether it be socialist or communist.  But, for some reason they want to change America and are advocating for it to become a socialist or a communist country when those systems of government have been proven failures. This makes no sense.  For some reason they can't make the connection between why they felt forced to or their need to leave their home country - why their home country's economy is failing- and why America is such a prosperous nation, and the land of opportunity.  America has been the land of opportunity and freedom due to its economic policies since its inception. Yes, capitalism with the least amount of government intervention as possible has been proven to work and has made this nation a prosperous nation. The people at the rally don't realize that they are being used by the Democrat or progressive politicians whose primary goal is to promote government dependence and acquire as much control and power over our lives as possible.  The politicians are manipulating these people like pawns on a chessboard.  A rude awakening is coming if checkmate is ever declared.

Do you as parents really want Planned Parenthood in your child/childrens public school? Hell NO!!There is a high probability that this will happen if H.R. 3200 is passed in congress. In section 2511 (pages 993-1001) of H.R. 3200, there is a provision that is made for "School-Based Health Clinics (SBHC)." 'Under the provisions of this section, the Secretary of Health and Human Services is directed to “establish a school-based health clinic program” which will locate clinics “in, or...adjacent to a school facility” a clinic which is “administered by a sponsoring facility.” '



A "sponsoring facility" can be a hospital, a public health department, a community health center, or a nonprofit agency. This is where Planned Parenthood comes into play. Planned Parenthood is a non for profit (c) (3) organization that proudly grandstands the fact they operate "850 health centers" across the United States. "Under H.R. 3200, each one of these “health centers” is eligible to become a “sponsoring facility” of a school-based health clinic."


With President Obama and Secretary of Health & Human Services Kathleen Sebelius being staunch supporters of abortion rights, how much of a chance do you think there is that they choose not to take advantage of this opportunity to indoctrinate and propogandize school kids into their pro-choice army? I think that it is very likely that this exact thing will happen. My suggestion is to take your kids out of public schools before they are brainwashed with liberalism garbage. We must stop this bill from being passed in any form. This is only one example of how Obama and his administration want to squash your parental rights and propogandize your kids into believing that being "Pro-Choice" is the right way to go. Abortion is evil. Abortion is wrong. All life is precious, especially the UNBORN. Parents, this is the time to stand up for your children and fight against this bill. This provision is one more example of the type of control and indoctrination Obama wants to have over your kids. This is utterly outrageous!!

And, Yes, these clinics will be federally funded. Your taxpayer dollars will go to this horrendous propoganda that promotes the murder of our most precious babies. This bill expressly says that “funds awarded under a grant under this section” may be used for “the payment of salaries for health professionals and other appropriate SBHC personnel.” Hell, freakin, NO!! I am not paying tax dollars to fund anything related to Planned Parenthood. In addition, the Secretary of HHS is directed to “begin awarding grants” for these SBHCs “not later than July 1, 2010.”

July 1, 2010.” So, we must stop this NOW!!! This must be made known to the public. The Obama administration is ready to start the process of indoctrinating kids even before the bill would go into effect, if passed. This bill must be stopped. This bill is not about health care. This bill is about power and control. And, if they can get their hands on your kids and control kids thoughts and their value systems, instead of the parent, then the parent is screwed. Parents, I hope you fight back against this intrusion into your kids lives and fight for your right to teach your kids what principles and values you see fit. Don't let this administration encroach on your parental rights.
