Nutty News

First off I have to let you know that my links aren't going to be done til' Tuesday, partially because I wasn't feeling well for a few days due to my having an infection in my system (sorta womanly related).  I know that endometriosis can compromise your immune system so that may have played a part in my getting an infection.

As I looked trough the news on the internet the news was soooo sad that I couldn't help but laugh at all the craziness in the news.  I shook my head in disbelief at some of the news.  First, we have a newborn baby who survived after being thrown down a trash chute. The surviving part is great! A miracle! But WTH?  The mother threw her baby son down the trash chute, as if her child was considered garbage.  The decline in morality and ethics in our country ticks me off so bad.  Some people are just not meant to be mothers.  Thank goodness a maintenance supervisor found the baby.  Then we have a crazy woman who threatened Dairy Queen employees with a grenade.  O.K. she was homeless and the grenade was not real but the employees thought that it was real.  That must have been scary.  She was obviously at least a little cuckoo and needs help. Or she could have done this stunt for food and shelter?  I wonder what each of us would resort to if we were homeless?

Then in Lithuania we have a priest who was set on fire by a man during Mass. What is this world coming to?  Trying to burn a priest while he was celebrating Mass.  That is outrageous!!  And there's more.... There was a woman in Louisville, KY who drew a sword while she was in the middle of an argument at Pizza Hut.

In England a doctor talked to his patient about Jesus and suggested that his patient might find solace in Christianity.  The doctor has been threatened with a warning by his professional body for discussing Jesus with a patient.  I don't know what the guidelines are in the U.K. but his being reprimanded is absurd since the doctor carried out a thorough and lengthy consultation.  My doctor and I talk about Jesus and prayer so I don't find this as crossing the line.  Plus, they talked over other avenues of help as well. More on the story here.

The Other McCain takes note of Mitch Daniels not running for President.  I am thankful that Mitch isn't running.  Plus, he mentions that the momentum is with Herman Cain even though the pundits don't think he has a chance of winning the nomination.  Prove those eliticraps wrong Mr. Cain.  Then Stacy has the latest gossip on the host squabbles within Fox News which has pinned Hannity vs. Beck and O' Reilly.   Some men just have to resort to acting like teenage boys.  Teenage rivalry?  Come on boys... We don't need conflict amongst conservatives when we need to focus on one thing, and one thing only - making sure that Obama is NOT reelected to a second-term.  That would be really bad, a huge mistake.

Have a great week everyone!

Simply Tell the Truth ABC, CBS, NBC, & the New York Times

The Media Research Center has started a campaign called Tell The Truth,  which has trucks that say “Stop the Liberal Bias, Tell the Truth!” circling the Manhattan headquarters of ABC, CBS, NBC, and the New York Times.  This is great! A loud and clear message needs to be sent to these liberal propagandists who claim to be running news organizations.  Hooray for Brent Bozell!!! News organizations need to simply tell us the news without giving us their biased opinions in favor of this administration's policies.  They simply need to relay the facts to the viewers and then let the viewers decide what to believe, instead of trying to persuade the viewer to agree with their opinions on the various topics and controversies.

The billboard trucks in Manhattan says: “Hey CBS, Stop the Liberal Bias, Tell the Truth!”  and the back of the truck says, “Honk If You Don’t Believe The Liberal Media.”  The other trucks bear the same message but directed at ABC, NBC, and the New York Times.

"Similar trucks also are operating in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, passing the offices of the broadcast networks, the Washington Post, CNN, the Newseum, the National Press Club and Politico, and ads about the campaign are running on numerous Web sites and on conservative talk radio programs."

'L. Brent Bozell III, president of the Media Research Center (MRC), the parent organization of CNSNews.com, said the goal of this 2010 “Tell the Truth!” campaign “is simple: to force the liberals in the media to stop pushing an agenda and just tell the truth.”'

'The “liberal media news networks” need to report the facts about “massive growth in government and its control over our lives, and about spending, deficits and debt,” he told CNSNews.com. “They also need to tell the truth about the efforts to turn our country into a European-style Socialist state.”'

Here is Brent Bozell on the Tell The Truth Campaign:

Sarah Palin Poll and Media Bias

A USA Today Gallop Poll was taken on July 6, 2009 and it showed that 53% of Americans believe the news coverage of Sarah Palin was "unfairly negative", while 9% felt it was "unfairly positive", and 28% says it has been just about right.

I have not in my lifetime seen a political figure, as well as her family, be so viciously attacked by the MSM. She has had to endure baseless attacks and ethics investigations, that have put her at least $500,000 in debt. The "Left" has vindictively attacked both Sarah Palin and her family. Some examples of those attacks most recently include: Letterman's(non) jokes, a recent Vanity Fair article, and an article by the Huffington Post attacking her son Trig, who has Down Syndrome. The "Left" has proved that they are a bunch of unconscionable human beings. If a conservative had done half the vicious attacks against a Liberal political figure there would be calls for that person's resignation, immediately.

Sarah Palin is awesome!!! She hunts, fishes, goes snow machining, while also taking care of her family. She stands up for principles and she does what she sees is best for her state and the country. She has a love of country and a type of personality I have not seen since Ronald Reagan. She has stood up against corruption in both the Republican Party and the Democratic Party. According to Lt. Governor Purnell, she has had more accomplishments in her two and a half years as governor, than most governors in four years, or even most governors serving for 8 years. She stands up for conservative values and is against wasteful spending. After consulting some top figureheads within the Republican Party, she has chosen that resigning as governor is the right decision for Alaska. I hope that she is successful on all of her endeavors.

I will be promoting Sarah Palin regardless of whether she runs for President or not. She is a person that had to rely on hard work in order to be successful and was not raised in a wealthy or a rich family. She has inspired me in a lot of ways and as a blogger I will continue to fight off these vile and false attacks by the MSM. In the same Poll, 19% of Americans say they are very likely, and 24% were somewhat likely to vote for Palin in the 2012 Presidential election. That's a pretty good start, for it being over 3 years away, until the next election. I believe that Sarah Palin can use this opportunity to promote herself nationally and better her image among the independent voters. I believe that she is is still one of the top forerunners in the GOP for the 2012 Presidential election. She has great tenacity, and I believe that she will make an awesome comeback, and show the liberals that they can shove it.

Good Luck Sarah Palin!!!

ABC, Obama, and Health Care -- A Vast Left-Wing Conspiracy

In an article written by Jennifer Harper of The Washington Times on Friday June, 19, 2009, she writes about the 60-minute ABC program, to air live from the White House on Wednesday.
Is there a conflict of interest in ABC doing this hour long feature promoting Obama’s health care reform? YES
Here is one example:
“ABC employees gave 80 times as much money to Mr. Obama's 2008 campaign for president than to his rival's. According to an analysis of campaign donations by the Center for Responsive Politics, conducted at The Times' request, ABC employees in several divisions donated $124,421 to the Obama campaign, compared with $1,550 to the presidential campaign of Sen. John McCain.”

ABC is not allowing any airing of opposing views or which offer a different viewpoint during ABC’s hour at the White House. ABC has become the propaganda machine for the White House. Does ABC have some stake in promoting the President’s health care plan? There is talk that if ABC helps Obama then ABC will get a bailout from Obama, if they need one. If that is true, then I believe that the relationship that ABC news and Obama has in ABC promoting his health care reform is a probably one of the biggest conflicts of interest in history. Obama has stated that he will consider all suggestions and all other health care reform proposals brought before him . By him not allowing any alternate views on health care reform during this ABC hour at the White House, and not allowing the American people to hear different options during this town hall question-and-answer session, the President is sending the opposite message. Both ABC and Obama are sending a clear message that it must be the Obama health care plan or else. What happened to giving the American people an opportunity to hear all the options regarding health care that are on the table? What happened to giving Americans choice? Or do the Democrats only promote that agenda when its in line with their agenda and when convenient for them, like in the case of abortion. Forevermore, since ABC news has become the propaganda machine for the White House, it shall be renamed the ALL Barack Channel. Under Obama, this is becoming the land of forcing stuff down your throat and not letting you get all the facts, only the positive facts that Obama wants to give you, but not the whole truth.

“Denied a chance to question Mr. Obama on his policy or buy advertising time on the program, Republicans said ABC denied them equal time for the town-hall-style event, accusing the network of turning "its entire programming over to President Obama and his big-government agenda," RNC Chairman Michael S. Steele said in the organization's second public letter to the network in 48 hours.”

According to Harper, “An informal online poll at the New York Daily News on Thursday found that 75 percent of the respondents did not "trust" ABC to provide even-handed coverage.”

"ABC is in bed with their source, so to speak. ABC is supposed to be a news organization, not a producer of infomercials for national health care. And I wonder what they would have done if the Bush administration had asked for positive programming to support the war on terror or Social Security initiatives," said Dan Gainor, BMI vice president of business and culture.

Ted Devine, a Democratic strategist, says that he detected the vast right-wing conspiracy from Republicans. I guess if you call wanting more than one option presented to the American people regarding health care reform a vast right-wing conspiracy, then the GOP and conservatives are guilty. The GOP actually wants to present more options to the American people other than the one option which would be clearly a government-run health care system. The government has underestimated costs and screwed up anything and everything to do with government from social security to welfare. What makes you think that the President’s projected costs for his health care proposal are correct? Do we really want a single-payer health care system? Does Obama want the U.S.’s health care to look like Canada or England? These countries have long lines and patients must even wait for much needed life saving medical procedures. I believe that Obama’s health care plan must be stopped!!!! If Obama’s health care reform proposal is passed through Congress I believe that this will be the death of the greatest health care in the world -American health care.

Yes, I do believe that the health care industry does need some kind of overhaul. I do not think that government-run health care is the answer. I do believe that the cost of health care services must be reduced. Health care professionals must stop being beholden to the private insurance companies. I believe that if the Democrats get their way, then physicians will be subservient to the government and whether the government will approve a medical procedure based on the cost effectiveness of the procedure., and not based on whether the patient actually needs the medical procedure or not.

Is this an example of the vast left-wing conspiracy?
