MYTH: Did not get college diploma
■FACT: Americans are struggling and I understand those struggles, because I’ve also faced difficult times, but in the end, I persevered. It took me over ten years to pay off my tuition bill. As a result my diploma was delayed. As FOX News, the Wilmington News Journal, and numerous other media sources have confirmed, I have a degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University and am a very proud alumna.
MYTH: Not a Delaware resident
■FACT: While some individuals might try to intimidate me to get out of the race, I will never back down from what’s right for Delaware citizens. During my 2008 campaign, both my home and campaign office were vandalized, broken into, and files were stolen. Threatening messages were left and nasty names were scrawled across my front door and porch. For security reasons, I simply do not want my Delaware home address made public this time around.
MYTH: Lost home in foreclosure
■FACT: Over the last few years, the American real estate market crashed and many families were faced with tough decisions. Contrary to what others are saying, I was lucky to survive this economic turmoil and my home was not foreclosed upon. My home was privately sold in 2008 through a realtor and private mortgage company, not a public foreclosure.

MYTH: Owes money to the IRS
■FACT: The following is an excellent example of our bloated government and the need for a simplified tax code in America. The IRS says the erroneous tax bill was a “computer error.” During my previous campaign against then Sen. Joe Biden, I was audited by the IRS. After a long appeals process; the issue was supposed to have been wrapped up this past spring. Yet, in March, rather than a letter finalizing the appeals process, I received an erroneous tax lien claiming I had not responded to their previous correspondence. The IRS admitted the letter was a mistake, issued a Certificate of Release of Federal Tax Lien on May 19, 2010 and chalked it up to a “computer error.” The remaining balance was paid in full on May 16, 2010.

The following document shows that Christine was complying with the IRS during the appeals process. This proves that the lien was erroneous and a “computer error” since you can’t get a tax lien placed on your home while under the appeals process (especially one you sold 2 years ago).

Regardless whether some of us have some reservations or not about Christine O'Donnell as a candidate we need to put things into perspective and remember what our priority is this election cycle, to defeat the Obama agenda. I had some reservations about Scott Brown but I supported him because I knew he would be better than the other candidate who was tied at the hip with Obama and his policies. WE must all step up to the plate and work together to defeat Obama and the Obama agenda. Every freedom loving conservative should be standing in line to support Christine O'Donnell so that we can stop and eventually reverse Obamacare, whereas her opponent Chris Coons supports Obamacare, the Obama agenda, and is a Marxist who supports excessive taxation and spreading the wealth.
Christine O'Donnell is the right candidate at the right time. Let's all support her so she can win against the Coons, the candidate in Delaware who is out of touch with the American people, supports high taxes which will lead to higher unemployment, wants to rob from the job creators and stifle their means to create employment to those who need jobs, and he wants to continue keeping the underprivileged reliant on the government.

Conservative Leaders around the country have just posted this contemporary restatement of the American commitment to our constitutional republic, the rule of law, and individual liberty. This declaration is called the Mount Vernon Statement and espouses conservative beliefs, values, and principles.

Constitutional Conservatism: A Statement for the 21st Century
We recommit ourselves to the ideas of the American Founding. Through the Constitution, the Founders created an enduring framework of limited government based on the rule of law. They sought to secure national independence, provide for economic opportunity, establish true religious liberty and maintain a flourishing society of republican self-government.
These principles define us as a country and inspire us as a people. They are responsible for a prosperous, just nation unlike any other in the world. They are our highest achievements, serving not only as powerful beacons to all who strive for freedom and seek self-government, but as warnings to tyrants and despots everywhere.
Each one of these founding ideas is presently under sustained attack. In recent decades, America’s principles have been undermined and redefined in our culture, our universities and our politics. The selfevident truths of 1776 have been supplanted by the notion that no such truths exist. The federal government today ignores the limits of the Constitution, which is increasingly dismissed as obsolete and irrelevant.
Some insist that America must change, cast off the old and put on the new. But where would this lead — forward or backward, up or down? Isn’t this idea of change an empty promise or even a dangerous deception?
The change we urgently need, a change consistent with the American ideal, is not movement away from but toward our founding principles. At this important time, we need a restatement of Constitutional conservatism grounded in the priceless principle of ordered liberty articulated in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution.
The conservatism of the Declaration asserts self-evident truths based on the laws of nature and nature’s God. It defends life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. It traces authority to the consent of the governed. It recognizes man’s self-interest but also his capacity for virtue.
The conservatism of the Constitution limits government’s powers but ensures that government performs its proper job effectively. It refines popular will through the filter of representation. It provides checks and balances through the several branches of government and a federal republic.
A Constitutional conservatism unites all conservatives through the natural fusion provided by American principles. It reminds economic conservatives that morality is essential to limited government, social conservatives that unlimited government is a threat to moral self-government, and national security conservatives that energetic but responsible government is the key to America’s safety and leadership role in the world.
A Constitutional conservatism based on first principles provides the framework for a consistent and meaningful policy agenda.

Issues
Why I'm Running...America is a great country but we also have some challenges that we need to solve if we're going to remain the world's superpower. The most important of our challenges is getting the U.S. economy moving again. People are hurting as they struggle to make ends meet. They're worried about their future, and that of their children and grandchildren. I want to ensure that we leave them an America that is financially stronger and independent: minus a national debt that we can never repay.
Health Care
I believe that all Americans deserve health care coverage, but I am opposed to the health care legislation that is under consideration in Congress and will vote against it. It will raise taxes, increase government spending and lower the quality of care, especially for elders on Medicare. I support strengthening the existing private market system with policies that will drive down costs and make it easier for people to purchase affordable insurance. In Massachusetts, I support the 2006 healthcare law that was successful in expanding coverage, but I also recognize that the state must now turn its attention to controlling costs.
Economy
I am a free enterprise advocate who believes that lower taxes can encourage economic growth. Raising taxes stifles growth, weakens the economy and puts more people out of work. Our economy works best when individuals have more of their income to spend, and businesses have money to invest and add jobs. I have been a fiscal watchdog in the state legislature fighting bigger government, higher taxes and wasteful spending.
Energy and Environment
I support common-sense environment policy that will help to reduce pollution and preserve our precious open spaces. I realize that without action now, future generations will be left to clean up the mess we leave. In order to reduce our dependence on foreign oil, I support reasonable and appropriate development of alternative energy sources such as wind, solar, nuclear, geothermal and improved hydroelectric facilities. I oppose a national cap and trade program because of the higher costs that families and businesses would incur.
Education
I am passionate about improving the quality of our public schools. Accountability and high standards are paramount. I support choice through charter schools, as well as the MCAS exam as a graduation requirement. I have worked to ensure that all children have access to a quality education. I am a strong advocate for the METCO program, which provides lower income students with broader educational opportunities.
Immigration
I recognize that our strength as a nation is built on the immigrant experience in America. I welcome legal immigration to this country. However, we are also a nation of laws and government should not adopt policies that encourage illegal immigration. Providing driver’s licenses and in-state tuition to illegal immigrant families will act as a magnet in drawing more people here in violation of the law and it will impose new costs on taxpayers. I oppose amnesty, and I believe we ought to strengthen our border enforcement and institute an employment verification system with penalties for companies that hire illegal immigrants.
Veterans
As a Lieutenant Colonel in the Army National Guard, I am uniquely aware of the importance and sacrifice of our men and women serving in the military. I have been a vigorous supporter of legislation providing benefits to returning service members, as well as, benefits for the families of those killed in action. I believe we need to recognize the sacrifice of all of our servicemembers by keeping better track of returning military personnel so they get the services they deserve. That includes providing them with first-class medical care and other benefits to which they are entitled. I am known as a leader on veterans' issues through my work on the Veterans and Federal Affairs Committee, the Hidden Wounds of War Commission, and the Governor's Task Force on Returning Veterans.
Gun issues
I support the Second Amendment and believe that citizens have the right to keep and bear arms as a basic constitutional liberty. I support safe and responsible gun ownership.
Death penalty
I believe there are some crimes that are so heinous that they deserve capital punishment. Our Government should have the ability to impose the death penalty in cases where it is justified.
Abortion
While this decision should ultimately be made by the woman in consultation with her doctor, I believe we need to reduce the number of abortions in America. I believe government has the responsibility to regulate in this area and I support parental consent and notification requirements and I oppose partial birth abortion. I also believe there are people of good will on both sides of the issue and we ought to work together to support and promote adoption as an alternative to abortion.
Marriage
I believe marriage is between a man and a woman. States should be free to make their own laws in this area, so long as they reflect the people's will as expressed through them directly, or as expressed through their elected representatives.
Israel
Israel has made enormous sacrifices in an attempt to secure peace – including unilateral withdrawal from Gaza. I support a two-state solution that reaffirms Israel’s right to exist and provides the Palestinians with a place of their own where both sides can live in peace and security. As our closest ally in the Middle East, Israel lives every day under the threat of terror yet shares with America a dedication to democratic ideals, a respect for faith, and a commitment to peace in the region. Until a lasting peace is achieved, I support the security barrier erected by Israel which has proven successful in protecting Israeli civilians from terrorist attacks.
Iran
I support the bi-partisan Iran sanctions bill and believe that until Ahmadinejad gives up his nuclear ambitions he should be isolated from the rest of the world. With its reckless pursuit of nuclear weapons, Iran represents the biggest threat to Israel. Ahmadinejad is a Holocaust denier who has threatened to wipe Israel off the map. Meeting with him confers legitimacy when the only correct response is to treat him as an outcast. A personal meeting with Ahmadinejad, as suggested by my opponent, would embolden him and be used as a propaganda tool to strengthen his position.

Maureen Dowds Conservative Brother Kevin is Back!
In Maureen Dowd's latest column, she lets her conservative brother, Kevin take over and write in her place. Did she get dropped as a baby or something? What the heck went wrong with Maureen Dowd? No, she probably just got brainwashed by Liberal professors. At least she is gracious enough to allow her brother to write a column. Her brother Kevin is a common sense conservative who believes in morality and values. Maybe, one day he will set his sister straight on the issues.
As my brother Kevin headed off to Christmas Eve Mass in the Maryland suburbs, I asked him how he thought the first year of Barack Obama had gone.
He didn’t have to pray long over that one. “Fine,” he replied, “if you like unmitigated disasters like the Hindenburg and the Redskins season.”
If it’s Christmas, it must be time for my conservative brother to take over my column and turn it a blazing shade of red.
So without further ado, here is Kevin unplugged, offering a perspective from “the real America,” as one of his favorite Republican philosophers, Sarah Palin, likes to put it:
Ladies and Gentlemen,
Who could have guessed on Nov. 4, 2008, that the mood this Christmas would be so festive? Yet a feeling of optimism pervades as we watch the old Christmas movies and marvel at the winter wonderland on the Mall illuminated by our national Christmas tree. (No offense to that ardent Catholic Nancy Pelosi, who would prefer “holiday tree.”)
The Republicans, of course, got exactly what they deserved in 2006 and 2008 mainly because they acted like Democrats. Deficit spending and sex scandals are not a good recipe for success.
But by forcing through a government takeover of health care, the auto industry and the banks, the president and his Congressional henchmen have brought us in a time machine to Russia 1917. These massive changes have been done in secret and along bullying, straight party-line votes.
It is stunning to watch rich lawmakers driving their own expensive cars off the cliff and signing on to such a socialist agenda. In dismissing the tea parties and pushing through plans the American people obviously don’t want, they have made the fatal disconnect between the representatives and the represented.
President Obama continues life in the H.O.V. lane, fawned over by the press and the crowned heads of Europe. In between apologies, the president should have reminded those pompous blowhards that without our interference, they would all be speaking German.

I wonder if you are aware about the rapidly snowballing nationwide campaign AGAINST the Catholic Campaign for Human Development (CCHD). One week from today, next Sunday, November 22, will be the annual bishops’ collection for CCHD in almost every Catholic church in America.
BIG NEWS is this: A few of the bishops have decided not to take up the collection–because of CCHD’s funding of ACORN, Saul Alinsky’s Industrial Areas Foundation, several other Alinsky-connected groups, many Marxist “social justice” and “social development” groups…
Think about that: On one hand, the bishops are all over Capitol Hill promoting the pro-life Stupak Amendment to the leftist health-care bill; on the other, they’re giving money to leftist groups that promote–surprise, surprise–abortion!
Some of us have been objecting to the ACORN funding for years. It took the Rathke embezzlement scandal to finally get CCHD to cut off ACORN funding last spring. But dozens of other leftist, sometimes blatantly Democrat-Party-building groups have gotten hundreds of thousands of dollars in contributions by well-intentioned Catholic parishioners who donated to “help the poor”–not knowing that the bishops were allowing their money to go to such objectionable organizations.
Richard A. Viguerie, a a conservative figure and writer on American politics, has written to other Catholic lay men and women throughout the nation to inform them of the nature of the organizations which are supported by the Campaign for Human Development. His letter is posted today at Christian News Wire:
You probably think you’ve never given money to ACORN and its allies. But if you’ve contributed to the annual November Catholic Campaign for Human Development (CCHD) appeal of the Catholic bishops, you’ve done just that.
Each November, the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops asks Catholics across the United States to contribute to the CCHD. Until last year, much of this money collected by the bishops’ appeal was funneled directly to ACORN.
Are you going to again let the bishops use your contributions — money that’s intended for charity — to promote extreme left-wing causes such as taxpayer-funded abortion-on-demand?
Or are you going to take the ACTION STEPS listed below, to stop charity money from being diverted into causes you (and most Catholics) find abhorrent?
Scandals have forced the bishops to stop funding ACORN directly, but they still fund other groups closely tied to ACORN — groups that have the same aims and that use the same methods to promote a left-wing, extremist agenda.
Catholics are led to believe that their contributions to CCHD are used to help the poor — funding soup kitchens, homeless shelters, and other worthwhile projects that provide aid to the least fortunate among us.
In fact, it appears almost none of the money goes to the poor.
Rather, it goes to organizations that engage in “community organizing” to promote a political agenda that many Catholics would find abhorrent, if only they knew. CCHD’s stated goal is “breaking the cycle of poverty,” but CCHD-funding organizations support policies that make it next to impossible for the poor to escape their circumstances.
It’s time for America’s Catholics to rise up, let their voices be heard.
This group of conservative Catholics is urging church members not to participate in the CCHD Drive until the Catholic Church can guarantee that the funds are not going to radical organizations like ACORN that oppose the Catholic church doctrine.

Each November, the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops asks Catholics across the United States to contribute to the CCHD. Until last year, much of this money collected by the bishops’ appeal was funneled directly to ACORN.
Are you going to again let the bishops use your contributions — money that’s intended for charity — to promote extreme left-wing causes such as taxpayer-funded abortion-on-demand?
Or are you going to take the ACTION STEPS listed below, to stop charity money from being diverted into causes you (and most Catholics) find abhorrent?
Scandals have forced the bishops to stop funding ACORN directly, but they still fund other groups closely tied to ACORN — groups that have the same aims and that use the same methods to promote a left-wing, extremist agenda.
Catholics are led to believe that their contributions to CCHD are used to help the poor — funding soup kitchens, homeless shelters, and other worthwhile projects that provide aid to the least fortunate among us.
In fact, it appears almost none of the money goes to the poor.
Rather, it goes to organizations that engage in “community organizing” to promote a political agenda that many Catholics would find abhorrent, if only they knew. CCHD’s stated goal is “breaking the cycle of poverty,” but CCHD-funding organizations support policies that make it next to impossible for the poor to escape their circumstances.
It’s time for America’s Catholics to rise up, let their voices be heard.
This group of conservative Catholics is urging church members not to participate in the CCHD Drive until the Catholic Church can guarantee that the funds are not going to radical organizations like ACORN that oppose the Catholic church doctrine.

An Email I Received From Mitchell Blatt Hit a Nerve: Anita Dunn, Rush Limbaugh & Freedom of Speech
Today, I received an email from Mitchell Blatt who claims to be a conservative but to me his email was pretty peculiar. This particular email hit a nerve. It just sounded off a red alert in my brain that said, this doesn't sound like a conservative talking, or what a conservative would post.

Mark Steyn starts off his latest National Review column first by quoting Rush Limbaugh exercising his free speech rights then by quoting Anita Dunn, Obama administration Attack FOX Czar, exercising her free speech rights.
Naturally, his cause is to defend Rush and to demonize Dunn for quoting Lee Atwater's quote of Mao Zedong.
These two stories are all the buzz over the conservative blogosphere: Rush Limbaugh said, "The NFL all too often looks like a game between the Bloods and the Crips without any weapons," (good), and Anita Dunn said, "The third lesson and tip actually comes from two of my favorite political philosophers, Mao Tse-Tung and Mother Teresa. ... You're going to make choices," (bad).
So here we are with conservatives defending Rush for comparing a mostly black league of athletes to a (mostly) black gang of criminal murderers because, well, he's just exercising his First Amendment rights, and the Left is trying to take him down with lies.
And then just a few days later, conservatives were attacking Dunn for quoting a communist murderer who also happened to be a very good political philosopher.
My thoughts are that both Dunn and Rush should go ahead and say whatever the hell they want, and we shouldn't care what they say, because maybe we should stop being so politically correct as a society?
Of course, the Right will never go along with that, despite the fact that Rush and Beck and everyone else consistently attack liberals for pushing politically correct fascism.
For activists, it's about tearing down their opponents however they can, not about standing for anything.
As Newt Gingrich said in 1995, "War is politics with blood; politics is war without blood."
(That's a Mao quote, by the way.)
Bill Dupray at True/Slant says it wasn't Dunn quoting Mao that is the problem, but that "explicitly say[ing] the person is one of your biggest influences."
But Bill Dupray lied there, just like CNN's Rick Sanchez lied about Rush saying slavery was good.
What Dunn actually said was that Mao was, "[one] of my favorite political philosophers."
And in fact, Mao was a great political philosopher.
The definition of philosophy, according to the American Heritage Dictionary of the English Language (Fourth Edition), is, "Investigation of the nature, causes, or principles of reality, knowledge, or values, based on logical reasoning rather than empirical methods."
Mao was so insightful when it came to investigating the nature of politics--i.e. how to gain and keep power--that he lead the communist takeover of China and became worshiped almost as much as our current president.
It was Mao's political philosophy that Gingrich quoted in 1995 to explain the nature of politics. There is nothing evil about thinking that Mao knows politics.
It's certainly true that Rush has been unfairly characterized, especially considering the fact that two of the quotes attributed to him last week were completely fake, but it's not like many conservative activists actually care that he was unfairly characterized. They only care that he's on their team.
If Glenn Beck cared about people being unfairly characterized then he'd stop calling Anita Dunn a Mao-ist commie, and he'd at least wait until she said something controversial before exposing his disregard for free speech and free thinking.
Then, I emailed him with my thoughts:

I would say 95% of what was stated about Rush were false accusations, and 100% of what conservatives are stating about Anita Dunn is correct. Plus, theres proof, the video, in the case of Anita Dunn. Mao was a mass murderer, even worse than Hitler or Stalin. Anita Dunn said,"The third lesson and tip actually comes from two of my favorite political philosophers, Mao Tse-Tung and Mother Teresa. ... You're going to make choices," (bad). Did you notice that she said MY and not a great philosopher? Plus, here is Dunn referring to Mao, "the leader's philosophies were a guidepost for her own strategy on politics." Bill Dupray was in fact correct in his statement when he referred to Mao being one of Anita Dunn's biggest influences. The fact that Mao was a mass murderer is much more relevant than the fact he may have been a great political philosopher. Dunn was talking to students who are quite impressionable and seems to have been misleading them to believe that he was a great philosopher with no record of mass murder. She was distorting reality, which is what the left normally does. She has the right to express all of her free speech rights as she pleases, but so do conservative bloggers. Mao should not be praised at all, or put alongside Mother Teresa. That was absurd. Mother Teresa is in a class all her own. She performed many great works and is a fantastic role model for others to look up to. Prominent conservatives such as Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, Mark Steyn and conservative bloggers have a right to their free speech and express it toward the absurd- Anita Dunn and her comments.So, give prominent conservatives and conservative bloggers the same respect that you have given to Anita Dunn with regards to free speech rights, instead of demonizing us. Plus, I am not a fan of Newt either. He has a right to speak his mind as we do to, but for him to quote Mao is absurd, too. Please remember that we ALL have a right to free speech afforded to us in the Constitution. Both conservatives and liberals have a right to express their free speech rights'.

Okay, his comment doesn't even make sense since he is the person making a big deal about conservatives expressing their free speech. This sparked a nerve in me, so I just had to stand up for all of our rights' to criticize others' by expressing my right to freedom of speech.

Not often coupled with each other, but the two people that I turn to most to basically deliver a simple point, which is: You’re going to make choices. . . . But here’s the deal: These are your choices; they are no one else’s. Yet CNN, MSNBC, ABC, other networks, and newspapers all around the country cheerfully repeated the pro-slavery quotation and attributed it, falsely, to Rush Limbaugh. And planting a flat-out lie in his mouth wound up getting Rush bounced from a consortium hoping to buy the St. Louis Rams. The NFL commissioner, Roger Goodell, said the talkshow host was a “divisive” figure, and famously non-divisive figures like the Rev. Al Sharpton and the Rev. Jesse Jackson expressed the hope that, with Mister Divisive out of the picture, the NFL could now “unify.”
The second quotation — hailing Mao — was uttered back in June to an audience of high-school students by Anita Dunn, the White House communications director. I know she uttered it because I watched the words issuing from her mouth on The Glenn Beck Show on Fox News. But don’t worry. Nobody else played it.
So if I understand correctly:
Rush Limbaugh is so “divisive” that to get him fired leftie agitators have to invent racist soundbites to put in his mouth.
But the White House communications director is so un-divisive that she can be invited along to recommend Chairman Mao as a role model for America’s young.

CALLER: Rush, it’s a huge honor for me to speak to you, and I hope I can keep my — my voice level, because I am so passionate. I am as passionate as you are about this country. I’m a conservative. I’ve listened to you for 25 years. I’m married. I have seven kids. And when you were telling me about how all of the shenanigans that they’re going to do in the Senate to pass two different Senate bills then slam ‘em together, attach them to some House bill about TARP, and then jam it through and jam it down our throats, I got furious. And then I listened to what you said about the Michigan mom who was watching some kids before they went to school and how the Michigan state came down on her accusing her of running an illegal day care, and you’re right: What they’re going to do is they’re going to threaten our health and they’re going to threaten the health of our children. If I don’t comply with their health care, I’m not going to be able to get my children the medicine they need.
RUSH: No, it’s not — whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. It’s not if you don’t comply with their health care. It’s if you’re a good citizen in support of the liberals running the country.
CALLER: Yes, sir. And I’m not. I’m a conservative. You know what? I’m 45. I might fall and break my hip in the next ten years. They’re going to have to give me a shot because they’re not going to want me to be healed and they’re going to do this to my children. It’s like you said. They are the party of abortion. They are the party of euthanasia. They are trying to wipe out senior citizens who are maybe not as useful to the Democrat National Committee as they should be, we’re not contributing enough to them. And I am outraged and furious. And my question to you — because I’m a political nobody; I’m just out here on the Left Coast in la-la land watching all the liberals run our California state bankrupt — is: “What can we do, legally, morally, to take this country back?” I want people to stand up, and I want them to vote these criminals, these pedophiles out of office.
I want them to take back the state of California and make it a Golden State, and I want them to take back Washington. But we’re little people, and we marched two million of us down to Washington and the press — ABC, NBC, CBS, MSNBC — not one of them shows pictures on the news, not one of them will report anything. But the damning thing today is that the press, the press is betraying us and we have no way — us, we be the little political moms, nobodies. Tell us what we can do in 2010, other than voting for Sarah Palin. Which I will do. But I need to know because I don’t have much hope. I sure don’t have hope from Obama. I need hope from Rush and I want you to please tell us what we can do, because this is the life of my children. They’re on the line. They can put me out to pasture, but, yes, they’ve got me over a barrel. Because I will do anything to save the lives of my children, even if it means I’ve gotta kiss some big Democrat’s rear end to get the health care for my baby, I’ll have to do it, and that sickens me because they’re my employees. I’m paying their salaries. I’m paying for their fancy office of doctors down where you were talking about at the House of Representatives and the Senate. They just get to walk in and pay $503 and they get all the health care that they need for $503, specialists flown in.
The pharmacy right there on their hour! Probably open 24 hours a day. Nobody has to wait. They get that because I’m paying for it. I’m paying for it! It’s coming out of my children’s allowances, my grocery money. They are getting it, and they’re taking it without listening, without representing us — like you said, the small R. I’m not being represented. I’ve called Boxer’s office. I’ve called Adam Schiff who is my so-called representative. They are very polite to little people on the phone but the people who are running this country don’t listen to us. There are millions of us and we are all furious. And no one, no one is even reporting what is being said! And I’m watching my country that I love, that my father fought for in World War II, that my father-in-law was wounded and got the Purple Heart for — and I’m watching it just being taken, just like candy from a baby.
“Oh, we’ll help you. We’ll give you health care. Here’s a lollipop. Go away,” and nobody’s doing anything. I’m sorry to be so angry, but I need hope, and I need to know how to counteract these shenanigans. This is not what we put people in government for is to run little-bitty side bills, smash ‘em together, and then vote ‘em under the carpet into a different health care bill that is languishing in some committee that they haven’t voted on. That’s dirty politics and it shouldn’t be happening. It should up-and-down votes. And you’re right. The 63 new judges coming on, that’s going to cement — that’s going to absolutely cement — their ability to write law instead of legislate. They can just send it to the judges. The judges will rubber stamp it. We’ll have liberal judges, we’ll just write the law. Never mind conservatism. Never mind reading what the law actually says. I look at this, and I see this happening every day.
I’m listening to you, and I’m to the point where I don’t even know if I should listen anymore because I’m so passionate and I’m so furious to watch all this and to hear it all happening, and I feel so powerless for the first time in my life. I’m glad Mrs. Obama is proud of her country for the first time in her life. I, as a mother, as a nobody I am ashamed of my government for the first time in my life — and I need to know how to combat this, especially in 2010. What can I do today, now, to help, to revitalize these namby-pamby liberal Republican RINOs in our Senate and in our government who are just voting to get along and “I want to get reelected.” That’s nonsense. They’re not standing up for what is good and clean and right. They’re not standing up for our Constitution. They should be all thrown out, every last one of them — and I don’t know how to mobilize people, but you do, Rush. You do! You have the power. And with great gifts, God gives great responsibility. I walked away from a very good job at a law firm, I’m educated, I have a law degree, and I did it because I was promoted by God to be a mother of seven. I’m giving everything I’ve got to them. And the one thing I cannot give them, absent help from good people all over this country, I can’t give them the American way of life. I can’t give them freedom. I can’t give them that. I can teach them and that’s all I can do. But everybody’s got to stand up, and, you know what? Why don’t you make 2010 the worst nightmare ever for the Democrats. Pick up the phone, call Sarah Palin, and you two run, run in 2010. Rush and Sarah. Do it. They would go nuts. I know you couldn’t do your show every day. And I know there are not enough Democrat women like Pelosi in the Senate to give you your 30 minutes of aerobic activity because there’s no boobs to ogle like you were telling about that German study finding that 10 minutes of breast ogling helps men, but we’ll get you a treadmill in there, I’m sure the White House will have a treadmill, it’s got a basketball court now and other things and an organic garden. We’ll get you set up, we’ll keep you healthy, maybe once you judge the Miss America contest, maybe you could do that every year, and that would give you a good cardiovascular burst. And you could go ahead and run the country for four years. But we gotta do something.

RUSH: The second thing here about all of these things that are happening, and you feel powerless to do anything about it, I think what’s happening throughout the country is an illustration that people are not powerless. This passion, this emotion that you represent here today that is felt by millions will have and is going to have an outlet. These techniques, the things that are being tried by the Democrats here are so against the decency and grain of the vast majority of the people in this country –

It’s not, “Okay, we win some and we lose some.” This is underhanded, dirty dealing, “Okay, we’re going to vote for one bill, but we’re going to switch it, we’re going to edit it out.” It’s like a computer, you just zap it out and stick something in, but the vote doesn’t get edited. It’s virtual bills. We just get to change it. It’s outrageous. If I did this in a job, I would be fired. And yet they keep doing it and we’ve got to hold them accountable.
RUSH: And trust me, believe me, they will be.
CALLER: I know you’re right. That’s why I listen to you every day I can.
RUSH: I will tell you when it’s time to panic. And it isn’t time to panic. Panic doesn’t lead to productive action.

RUSH: Well, let’s do that for just a second, because it’s crucial. While your rage, your outrage is properly directed at the architects of this disaster, the Democrat Party, at the same time, we don’t really see a lot of rage from our own elected representatives, do we? This is one of the reasons why –
CALLER: This is why we’re mad, ’cause they’re not outraged.

CALLER: They don’t say anything, they don’t do anything.
RUSH: If you can call this radio show and in ten minutes, without one stutter, lay out the very dire threats that face this country, why in the hell can’t professional politicians stand up and say the same thing and take action to stop it?

RUSH: Now, here’s where this is going to lead. If we’re not careful, this is going to lead people to start saying, “We need a third party.”

It’s going to lead to people say, “Both parties are the same, there’s no difference, Republicans and Democrats.” What we have to focus on here is taking back the Republican Party. I think there is enough rage right now, and if it sustains itself, and it will, Obama’s not going to stop any of this garbage, and the Democrats are not going to stop, so it will sustain itself.
CALLER: And we have to take back the party and revitalize it –

RUSH: Exactly. That’s what has to happen. But at some point just voting against people is not enough.

RUSH: I’m talking particularly now the House and the Senate. I mean you talked about the RINOs in the Senate, and there are a lot of them, and they’re scared to death of the media in Washington, they’re scared to death of being called racists, they’re scared to death of having happen to them what happens to Sarah Palin. They’re scared to death of having happen to them what happened to Joe Wilson. So they’ve got their own fear they have to overcome. They don’t understand that they’ve got an army of people. Even after all the campaign contributions Joe Wilson got, they still don’t see there’s an army of people willing to back ‘em up if they would just lead. There’s an army of people ready to follow ‘em.
CALLER: I gave Joe Wilson money. The minute he said it, the very night that he said “you lie,” I sent that guy money. And when he refused to apologize for a second time, when he’d already apologized personally to President Obama, and when he refused to do it again for the House and Senate, I sent him more money.

CALLER: And that’s what we gotta do. We gotta back the people who are being leaders, and then we gotta kick out the ones who aren’t. But we can’t do a third party, we can’t do a tea party because we’ll be locked in with the Democrats, they’ll run the show because we’ll keep splitting the vote for 30 years.
RUSH: ‘Kin’ A! Exactly right. That’s going to lead to permanent victory for Democrats.
CALLER: I know! How do you tell people this? How do you say, “Whatever you do, vote conservative and get the Republican Party back.”

RUSH: All you gotta say to them, “Have you ever heard of Bill Clinton?”

This is about the future of the country. So I understand your frustration. Believe me, I feel it, too. You’re asking me what you can do. We’re all asking ourselves that. You know, what can we do? People are marching; people are showing up in public; calling all these people’s offices. I think it’s a waste of your time, by the way, to call Boxer. I think right now if you’re going to call anybody, call Harry Reid’s office. I don’t care whether they talk to you or not, flood ‘em, shut ‘em down, e-mail, faxes, just shut ‘em down, call Harry Reid’s Nevada’s office, he’s worried about 2010 reelection. Harry Reid is about to have happen to him what happened to Tom Daschle. You call Harry Reid, don’t waste your time on Pelosi. Call Steny Hoyer. Call some of the Blue Dogs and moderates and so forth, because, I’ll tell you, these people, their political futures are up for grabs as well, the Blue Dog Democrats in the House.
But Harry Reid, you know, he’s the guy that’s the architect, along with Obama, of the shenanigans going on in the Senate right now. And, by the way, she spelled it out perfectly. If you didn’t hear the first hour, she gave you the summary of it pretty well, how they’re planning to attach two Senate health care bills to a House bill that the Senate has not yet acted on, on taxing bonuses. They’re basically going to attach a hybrid health care bill to the Senate version of the tax on bonuses bill and send that back to the House and have them vote on that with health care, single payer, public option health care being an amendment to a bill on taxing bonuses. And then they send that right up to Obama. Now, Susan, that’s not guaranteed. For this to happen, Pelosi and the House have to go along with whatever Harry Reid sends ‘em and not amend it and not add to it or take away from it, and you know, by the time the Congressional Black Caucus and some of the wacko leftists in the House get a look at the Senate bill, if it doesn’t have all the giveaways in it that they want, it could get screwed up. But this is the attempt going on, and this is how it would be done with 51 votes instead of 60, which is required in the Senate.
All of this is a tantamount admission that the American people don’t want it; it’s a tantamount admission they can’t pass it with public support and what that means is that they are scheming against the American people. The enemy of this government is not Moammar Khadafy; the enemy of this government is not Ahmadinejad; the enemy of this country is not Osama Bin Laden; the enemy of this country is the American people. The enemy of the Democrat Party right now in getting what they want is the American people, and that’s who they’re scheming against. And you know that, too, and that’s why you’re outraged. This is not supposed to be a banana republic. This is supposed to be a representative republic with a small R, and they’re obliterating it. They’ve been working at this for 50 years or more. Their dreams have come true. But they are overreaching and they’re getting so much public opposition now that they’re trying to figure out how to get past it and get done what they want and still maintain their power. They are very polite to little people on the phone but the people who are running this country don’t listen to us. There are millions of us and we are all furious. And I’m watching my country that I love, that my father fought for in World War II, that my father-in-law was wounded and got the Purple Heart for — and I’m watching it just being taken, just like candy from a baby.

CALLER: No, we haven’t.
RUSH: Well, let’s do that for just a second, because it’s crucial. While your rage, your outrage is properly directed at the architects of this disaster, the Democrat Party, at the same time, we don’t really see a lot of rage from our own elected representatives, do we? This is one of the reasons why –
CALLER: This is why we’re mad, ’cause they’re not outraged.
RUSH: That’s right.
CALLER: They don’t say anything, they don’t do anything.
RUSH: If you can call this radio show and in ten minutes, without one stutter, lay out the very dire threats that face this country, why in the hell can’t professional politicians stand up and say the same thing and take action to stop it?
CALLER: Amen.
RUSH: And that’s really the level of your frustration.
CALLER: Yes.
RUSH: Now, here’s where this is going to lead. If we’re not careful, this is going to lead people to start saying, “We need a third party.”
CALLER: No. No, no, no, no.
RUSH: Wait, hear me out. It’s going to lead to people say, “Both parties are the same, there’s no difference, Republicans and Democrats.” What we have to focus on here is taking back the Republican Party. I think there is enough rage right now, and if it sustains itself, and it will, Obama’s not going to stop any of this garbage, and the Democrats are not going to stop, so it will sustain itself.
CALLER: And we have to take back the party and revitalize it –
RUSH: Yeah.
CALLER: — with true conservatives.
RUSH: Exactly. That’s what has to happen. But at some point just voting against people is not enough.
CALLER: Right.
RUSH: It will be enough in 2010. But who we gonna elect in place of them? Where are the candidates going to come from?
CALLER: Yeah.
RUSH: I’m talking particularly now the House and the Senate. I mean you talked about the RINOs in the Senate, and there are a lot of them, and they’re scared to death of the media in Washington, they’re scared to death of being called racists, they’re scared to death of having happen to them what happens to Sarah Palin. They’re scared to death of having happen to them what happened to Joe Wilson. So they’ve got their own fear they have to overcome. They don’t understand that they’ve got an army of people. Even after all the campaign contributions Joe Wilson got, they still don’t see there’s an army of people willing to back ‘em up if they would just lead. There’s an army of people ready to follow ‘em.
CALLER: I gave Joe Wilson money. The minute he said it, the very night that he said “you lie,” I sent that guy money. And when he refused to apologize for a second time, when he’d already apologized personally to President Obama, and when he refused to do it again for the House and Senate, I sent him more money.
RUSH: Kin A'
CALLER: And that’s what we gotta do. We gotta back the people who are being leaders, and then we gotta kick out the ones who aren’t. But we can’t do a third party, we can’t do a tea party because we’ll be locked in with the Democrats, they’ll run the show because we’ll keep splitting the vote for 30 years.
RUSH: ‘Kin’ A! Exactly right. That’s going to lead to permanent victory for Democrats.
CALLER: I know! How do you tell people this? How do you say, “Whatever you do, vote conservative and get the Republican Party back.”
RUSH: Okay, we’re always going to have Perotistas.
CALLER: Yes, I remember him.
RUSH: All you gotta say to them, “Have you ever heard of Bill Clinton?”
CALLER: Yeah.
RUSH: You ever heard of Bill Clinton?
CALLER: Yeah.
RUSH: That’s something coming in the future, but this notion that both parties are the same and we gotta throw ‘em all out, unrealistic, they’re not the same, there’s no way that any Republican would be offering any of the things the Democrats are offering right now.
CALLER: I know.
RUSH: There is simply no way.
CALLER: But there is no room for cowards in government.
RUSH: Not right now. The country’s at stake.
CALLER: If you’re going to be in government you gotta play
RUSH: The country is at stake. You’re right, this is not about the traditional back-and-forth, the policy arguments, and we come to an agreement at the end of the day, we compromise and so forth. This is about the future of the country. So I understand your frustration. Believe me, I feel it, too. You’re asking me what you can do. We’re all asking ourselves that. You know, what can we do? People are marching; people are showing up in public; calling all these people’s offices. I think it’s a waste of your time, by the way, to call Boxer. I think right now if you’re going to call anybody, call Harry Reid’s office. I don’t care whether they talk to you or not, flood ‘em, shut ‘em down, e-mail, faxes, just shut ‘em down, call Harry Reid’s Nevada’s office, he’s worried about 2010 reelection. Harry Reid is about to have happen to him what happened to Tom Daschle. You call Harry Reid, don’t waste your time on Pelosi. Call Steny Hoyer. Call some of the Blue Dogs and moderates and so forth, because, I’ll tell you, these people, their political futures are up for grabs as well, the Blue Dog Democrats in the House.
But Harry Reid, you know, he’s the guy that’s the architect, along with Obama, of the shenanigans going on in the Senate right now. And, by the way, she spelled it out perfectly. If you didn’t hear the first hour, she gave you the summary of it pretty well, how they’re planning to attach two Senate health care bills to a House bill that the Senate has not yet acted on, on taxing bonuses. They’re basically going to attach a hybrid health care bill to the Senate version of the tax on bonuses bill and send that back to the House and have them vote on that with health care, single payer, public option health care being an amendment to a bill on taxing bonuses. And then they send that right up to Obama. Now, Susan, that’s not guaranteed. For this to happen, Pelosi and the House have to go along with whatever Harry Reid sends ‘em and not amend it and not add to it or take away from it, and you know, by the time the Congressional Black Caucus and some of the wacko leftists in the House get a look at the Senate bill, if it doesn’t have all the giveaways in it that they want, it could get screwed up. But this is the attempt going on, and this is how it would be done with 51 votes instead of 60, which is required in the Senate.
All of this is a tantamount admission that the American people don’t want it; it’s a tantamount admission they can’t pass it with public support and what that means is that they are scheming against the American people. The enemy of this government is not Moammar Khadafy; the enemy of this government is not Ahmadinejad; the enemy of this country is not Osama Bin Laden; the enemy of this country is the American people. The enemy of the Democrat Party right now in getting what they want is the American people, and that’s who they’re scheming against. And you know that, too, and that’s why you’re outraged. This is not supposed to be a banana republic. This is supposed to be a representative republic with a small R, and they’re obliterating it. They’ve been working at this for 50 years or more. Their dreams have come true. But they are overreaching and they’re getting so much public opposition now that they’re trying to figure out how to get past it and get done what they want and still maintain their power. CALLER: Rush, what a pleasure it is to talk to you. I’ve been listening to you since day one, and it is absolutely a pleasure this afternoon to get through. I just wanted to thank you. I understand you’ve gotten many, many e-mails already for letting Susan speak her mind because her heartfelt sentiments are just echoing across the country, and it’s nice to hear somebody who is so eloquent in what she had to say and to also understand her frustration because so many of us are feeling the same way.

Astroturf Jerks!! - Steven Crowder Video
I am so sick of liberal hypocrisy. I'd like to see Pelosi's face against astroturf. Hell, maybe it would even help her face? These liberal companies pay for a person's political involvement while we conservatives volunteer our time and attend authentic grassroots events. Conservatives are not paid for their participation, unlike liberals at liberal events. And, speaking of hippies I unfortunately had to encounter a know it all hippie yesterday. And my rant continues here.
